Bio
Ashish started his design entrepreneurship journey 37 years ago, by co-founding India’s pioneering integrated design practice, Elephant.
Ashish has been on the Product Design Jury at Cannes Lions. He was the Jury Chair for Lexus Design Awards India. He has served as an appointed member of India Design Council and was invited to attend Good Design Mark Jury, Japan. He & his team at Elephant are recipient of several international awards including IF Design Awards (Germany), Golden Pin, Taiwan, Spark (USA), Greener Gadgets (USA), CII-Design Excellence, Lexus Design Award, VMRD Retail Award, NASSCOM D4India Award, with 5 products to have received the India Design Mark.
Ashish has delivered keynotes at International Design Conferences across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan & S Korea among others. He is the past President, Association of Designers of India, an active member of the Design Alliance Asia and has been on the jury of India Design Mark.
As a highlight to his career, having driven design at Symphony Ltd, a publicly listed Indian company, he was invited to join the Board of Directors as an Independent Director.
His present work drives him between play of technology in design and volunteer work at ADI, Association of Designers of India.
