FRANCESCA FERRACINI.
GROUP CREATIVE DIRECTOR, OGILVY USA
Bio
Francesca Ferracini, known as Ferra, is an Italian award-winning Group Creative Director at Ogilvy New York. Across a career spanning Europe and the U.S., she has created culturally resonant work for some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Coca-Cola, Powerade, Sanpellegrino, Diesel and Heineken.
Her work has earned more than 100 international awards, including 20 Cannes Lions, 11 D&AD Pencils and 2 Clio Grand Prix, with multiple Grand Prix at Cannes Lions. Among them is Coca-Cola’s “Recycle Me,” which deconstructed one of the world’s most recognizable logos to inspire recycling.
Her work for Sanpellegrino brought back beloved characters from “The Sopranos” nearly two decades after the iconic finale, earning the brand its first-ever Cannes Lion. For Powerade, “The Athletes Code” went beyond advertising to help rewrite athlete contracts across The Coca-Cola Company, giving athletes the ability to take mental health breaks without risking their sponsorships.
Previously, Ferra worked at FCB London and Publicis Italy, creating award-winning work for brands including The Big Issue, Nescafé and Leroy Merlin.
At the heart of her work is a belief in simple, insightful ideas, brought to life with the highest level of craft.
